The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is an excellent choice if you're looking for a mid-priced robot vacuum and mop. It has a great mopping capabilities, but is lacking certain of the more advanced features of its more expensive counterpart.

During testing it was able to eliminate pet hair and dry oats from medium-pile carpets. However, unlike other models, it doesn't utilize LIDAR to determine the layout of your home.

1. IRobot Roomba S9+

The iRobot Roomba S9+ robot vacuum is among the most highly-rated robots. It has a lot of features and incredible cleaning power, including an area for dirt that is integrated into the base of charging. iRobot claims that the S9+ also comes with superior filtration which blocks micro-sized particles and allergens from circulating in your home. We think it's a nice claim however, it's not enough to justify a premium price.

Its intelligent navigation system makes use of sensors to remember the layout of your home and vSLAM for mapping the interior. This allows it to stay clear of obstacles, like stairs and other barriers, and to clean up your entire home in the most efficient manner possible. The iRobot Home app lets you manage the robot and plan cleaning times, and set up virtual boundary markers, so it is aware of areas that require more attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

When it is about robots that can combine mopping and vacuuming, the Roborock Q Revo is a standout. Its vacuum settings are as efficient as those found on higher-end models and its mopping feature is better still--its spinning pads do a much more impressive job of scrubbing your floors than a stationary vibration pad.

The only downside is that it doesn't have an additional rubber brush to allow to provide more thorough cleaning, but that's a small price to pay if you want to get one of the best robots on the market. The dust tank of the robo-vac is bigger than most of its competitors, and filling it takes just two or three times, even when you've got the most dirt.

As for the mopping system, I was awestruck by its ability to scrub hard dirt off my floors. The app is good at nagging you only when something requires attention, such as the clean water tank running low or a scheduled cleaning session being cancelled due to a stuffed dust bin.

You can also create or merge actual rooms in order to customize the way that Q Revo manages your home. This is a great feature for those who have multiple rooms in your home that have different flooring materials or there's items that need to be cleared out frequently, like clothes, toys and books. The robot vacuum was also one of the top performers in my test and was able to remove debris from both carpets as well as hardwood floors with the first go. It can also remove wet spills however I would recommend cleaning them off using a clean cloth before bringing the robot in.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

Although these features are useful however, they also make the L10s Ultra more in the luxury category which could make it slightly more expensive than the average homeowner need.

The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaner. It's slim and tall and has a white-colored finish accented with silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine has a large bumper that protects the furniture and vacuum cleaner while moving around your home.
