She has extensive experience arguing asbestos-related lawsuits before the state and federal courts, as well as various appellate and Supreme Court bodies.

During her time at Brobeck, Vogel worked on asbestos cases, including those involving respondents in the Asbestos Claims Facility in Northern California. The cases files contained SEAR forms (Short encapsulated Evaluative reports) that contained confidential information about the plaintiffs. These included medical reports and work histories, as well as a list asbestos products that plaintiffs used or worked near. Vogel was required to have an account password to access the files. She was then able to review any SEAR forms provided by her current employer.

In addition to its extensive trial and appellate experience, the Bowles Rice Asbestos Team is acknowledged nationally for its ability to negotiate settlements on behalf of its clients. In this capacity, the company collaborates with plaintiffs' lawyers in the creation and implementation of settlement agreements. It also has extensive experience in defending businesses against appeals.
